WHO???!!!??? (99th)

It took 99 posts here up on this blog to realize something about the music industry...THEY CAN'T HELP YOU!

Let that marinate for a minute my dudes and dudettes...marinate it somemore...Okay let me explain (cause thats a bold statement): And it's not just music, its life in general, and in every profession. Can i be blunt for a minute...The industry doesn't give a flying F*** about you! They only care about you when you are already famous, and when you do get famous, they talk about u like a dog. Thats the industry in a nutshell folks. Im writing this to all my fellow up and comings, cause can i be honest again...a lot of yall are like deers caught in some head lights. You all want to get record deals and blow up and get famous. You all want to get discovered...but to be honest with yall it doesnt happen like that.

1. Work harder- if you think you are working hard...you probable aren't and you need to work harder at your dreams.

2. The industry doesn't give a F about you and will not help you until you are already there...most of them are panzies and think they are cool, when they really aren't. Which leads to the question, how do you get there if no one wants to help you...AND I answer on number 3.

3. You DO EVERYTHING YOUR DAMN SELF. If you dont know how to do it learn. I didnt know photoshop...but i learned it, now i do my album covers...i didnt know how to create websites, but im learning...i was tired of paying mad money for an engineer to mix my records, so i taught my self how to engineer...i was tired of paying for studio time, so i built one my self. I was tired of (10 years ago) waiting on beats..so i bought a board and gear and produced them my self, dont need a songwriter cause i do it my damn self. Theres 2 things i must admit...that you probably do need in this industry and cannot get around this. AND i answer in # 4.

4. A Mastering engineer and Marketing. You def need experienced ears to polish your records so they are radio ready...and you need marketing if you want to make money...PERIOD.
