Just copped Logic and A Mac. Just when I thought I had everything, not quite. I needed some more tools to get my sound perfect. Cubase is awesome on a PC, but I needed something else to help me as producer...after months of research I decided on Logic. Bought the IMAC which cost me 1200 and Logic Studio ran 500. I still need to learn Pro tools cause the industry uses this as a standard but im sorry i dont have 10 GRAND to get a protools HD setup. And im not messn wit the Protools LE programs cause they are limited in their track counts. I also need to get the Apogee Duet which is going to run me another half grand but I hear that Logic Studio 8 and Apogee Duet is a comparable and competitive option to the famous Protools HD setup. Especially for musicians on a budget...which is ME! One day ill learn PT just to learn it but I think Logic and Mac might be the next big thing. I hear that overseas that Logic is the standard and not PT, but whatever that dont matter they both sound awesome. I just have to learn Logic so I can start making some more fire. This is officially HALFTIME (50 posts).
Some updates on some recent projects: (April 2008) Im currently finishing up a Mixtape album called : "Will sing for food" This is actually more like an unofficial 2nd release type album. It has around 15 tracks on it, a lot of unreleased material. Actually my new demo tape songs are on the album and some hot joints I did before that just never got released. I also did some songs over some J-Dilla and D'angelo instrumentals. I think it's going to to be a cool release. Im proly gonna press up like 200 copies and maybe sell it on SnoCap via Myspace for a dollar a track. This is mainly a promo CD for the next joint im working on B.O.S. So yea 2nd album coming real soon. Me and my brother (Ghostwriders) also working on some pop joints for this pop singer whose suppose to get a deal, so we are finishing up 4 joints we produced and wrote for her, so hopefully that goes well. And Also im working on a few collabos with some rap artists, so yea Im working...
