Let's Go shopping

Finally we started the shopping. We started end of February. Right now all I can really do is keep performing and getting prepared for meetings cause I know somebody has to call me back. If we shop 200 demo pacakages...Im expecting at least 1-3 call backs. Somebody Somewhere has got to feel me, and that's how Im a look at it. So far we shopped to UD, Stones Throw, Black Smith, Tommy Boy. My brother had a meeting with Mickey Wright's assistant from Jive/Zomba and he gave her the demo package. She said she would listen to it and then get back to him. If she likes it she will pass it on to Mickey. Let's see what happens...

We also reached out to Bjoirn Teske from SONYBMG Germany, pending his response we will be sending a package over seas. Right now its like sending out a resume for a job. If you meet certain criteria, you apply for the job and then wait for a call back for an interview. In relation to the demo, the criteria to meet would be getting the permission to send to a contact at the label, send the demo and then pray for a call back. I mean I know its tough to get in, but it can't be that hard. Although it took me nearly 8 years to get to this point. A lot of it was, I think I wasn't ready at that time. My swagg didnt really come to me until about 2.5 years ago. All those other years was like college. Getting prepped for the job. You earn your degree and then you are ready to step out and start making some money. Same thing for me...took about 7 years to prep, now I got my degree and trying to get a DAMN job!!
