been a minute...

But im here. J-RE ain't going no where y'all. If you read the previous posts, u can see that i was really pissed off. But I learned a valuable lesson. That lesson is,that in this industry you have to toughen up. Be strong, have tough skin. It's hard when your sensitive about your music. I mean not everyone is going to like what you do. That is just a fact that you have to deal with. Some people will think your music stinks. They may think your not talented or that you don't have what it takes. Also learn, that everyone is a critic. Just make music...do what you do...make classics. Keep practicing till u know ur the SH** for real. That's what I learned.

What have I been doing? Well you know it's shopping season. It's Januaray 16th and my package should have been ready by now but it's not. It should be ready sometime next week...hopefully we start shopping end of Jan. We have Feb and March to get it popping. Im also tryna to perform every week at open mics to get a local buzz. My boy is working on this So Smoove video for me too...Thank God! But hopefully we get it together by next week y'all

Thanks for being patient with me. You know I also been thinking about this music industry and how it is not what it used to be as far as album sales...It's very discouraging. It seems like catz aint buying records no more. I mean Im looking at all these great artists that dropped great albums, and how they used to sell in the millions. Now there lucky if they go gold...its discouraging. Sometimes it makes you not even want to get into the game. But like my man said, just make the best music you can and make classic joints...
