Can I vent out for a minute...

Being that I live in the tri-state area, one would be insane to not try and get their name out in the region. As an artist you tend to try and perform any and everywhere that you get a chance to. So anyways, we was trying to get a gig at SOLO NIGHT CLUB in Philadelphia. My man Hakim spoke with a lady named ANNIE. At first everything seemed cool and it looked like I was going to be performing on the 23rd of February. For me that was a good look, cause I never performed in Philly before. I've just been performing in New York and New Jersey. So anyways Hakim tells her to check out my myspace page to get a feel of me, my stlye, etc. 24 hours pass...

Hakim followed up with Annie, and she said that she was going to have to pass on the performance because she thought that my music wouldn't appeal to the "21 and over crowd" That it would only appeal to the "Younger" crowd. (Let me think for a minute)...

First off, I'm a grown ass man! I don't make music for little children. Do little children like my music? Of course. Do older people like my music? Well, last I heard they did...Anyways, I'm not asking this chick to like my music. All i want to do is get my name out. When I do shows I shut them down hands down. Let the crowd decide if they like me or not. I am not some amateur no talent singer just getting into the game. Whatever I can't even be mad at her, I have to just accept REJECTION. I've been accepting it all my life, so what's one more to add. Let's look at the facts:

The fact is that J-RE has ordered 500 cd's of "Love Chronicles" and sold out. The fact is that J-RE is on cdbaby.com with most of his fans in Japan. The fact is that J-RE is on amazon.com, walmart.com, target.com, and itunes. The fact is that J-RE had the top 3 singles on mp3.com out of 500 artists. The fact is that J-RE was named yoraps "NEXT ARTIST TO BLOW" the same site that named Sean Kingston, Collie Buddz, and E.Ness as "NEXT TO BLOW." The fact is that J-RE has performed at the CHINA CLUB in NY and The SOUL CAFE in NY. The fact is that MEGAHURTZ(the same producer that did tracks for 50 cent on GET RICH OR DIE TRYING) and FOCUS (signed producer under AFTERMATH RECORDS) has produced tracks for J-RE. The list goes on and on, and I know I'm not signed yet, but I have accomplished quite a lot in my "AMATEUR" career so for you to tell me that my songs is kiddish is a direct insult, and I DO NOT take that lightly.

Anyways man I'm a just brush that off, go to the gym and bang out these weights like I always do. ANNIE and the OWNER of SOLO will see me when I blow the F*** up and wish that they had me perform at their Night club!
