Bakpaks and Yak mixtape

So "R&B Rockstar" is still being worked on...it was supposed to be dropping in January but you know what, im not rushing the release. I want this album to be perfect. It has to be...SO in the meantime, im focusing all of my energy on my mixtape thats coming out called "Bakpaks and Yak" And this is no BS release. This is an official release and its hosted by DJ KOOL KID. IF you don't know who Kool Kid is you should google him, he's pretty famous in the hip hop world. So for him to be hosting the mixtape is a blessing. This is a huge opportunity to really get my name out and for people to hear some dope music by me Dave Cirino.

It's a lot of work mixing this stuff down tho. The recording process was nothing...a breeze...but mixing, HA thats a whole nother ballgame. You have to realize that im also an engineer so i mix my recordings. Its not easy trying to get everything to sound crisp and sonically pleasing to the ears...plus im on a deadline which is actually today, cause KOOL KID needs the mixtape by Tuesday...and i have to send this off for mastering, so basically i gotta get this mastered in 2 days. Talk about stress...and the ME is not picking up his phone, so im on one strand right now. THe mix is 95 percent done. Im not worried about that, im worried about getting this mix the ME so he can throw that last polish and sheen on my music. Hopefully it works out, but im so tired ive been mixing this tape for about 4 days now and im putting in 12,13 hour days. (after working a job full time)
