What Matters

I had a dream that the end of the world was occuring. In my dream I was told that tomorrow was the last day. I woke up freaked, but rememberred my conversation i had with my mother 2 days prior. In the end we all have to answer to GOD. Each and every one of else. It started off by me calling her to get some advice about these creditors that keep friggn harrassin me, as i try and get my financial life back together...I mean what she said is tru very true. Obviously while we are here on earth, we have an obligation to take care of our families and provide for them, and really try hard to financially provide,etc. That is very important of course. But you see people, celebs, flash things that so many middle, lower, and upper class make a priority to attain, like who has the best car, who has the best house, whose the best dressed, who has the most jewelry, how famous you are. I mean society places an emphasis on these things, but the reality of it all is that you cannot take any of these things with you when you pass on. When you stand in front of the father, HE is not going to ask you if you were debt free or if you purchased the latest Mercedes Model. HE is going to ask you what you have done for him. It's that simple. Many people dont believe that this will ever occur, but the harsh reality of it all is that one day, someday, each and every living being WILL have to answer to God. The question is, what are you going to say when he asks you that question? I mean life and the things you do in life are very important but always remember, it's what you do for Christ that will last. Suddenly, everything seems secondary...even Music.
