My father is a minister and that was his message today. Me and my brother drove down from North Jersey down to South Jersey to Vineland, where we basically grew up. My Dad was preaching at V.O.D. New Covenant Church and that was his message: "What seed are you planting? You might ask yourself, what does that have to do with music...well it has to do a lot with what I am doing. You see, my life is spiritual and led by God. Sometimes I slack, and I need to grow alot more but I try to live holy. But anyways, my father was talking about seed time harvest time. The basic message was if you plant good seed, you are going to get good seed. If you plant bad seed, you will get bad seed and a bad harvest.
I was thinking to myself, man it's time for my harvest. I've been grinding hard and working hard and sometimes I ask myself, "Is this all in Vain?" But then listening to this message I asked myself, "What kind of seed have I been planting?" And this could pertain to any aspect of your life. Financial seed, Music Seed, etc. Have I been planting good musical seed? Have I been reading the word and relating that word to my music? Have I been calling for doors to be opened regarding my music? Have I been thinking and being positive about getting signed? Or have I been thinking negatively about it? Have I been practicing and mastering my craft and planting good seed in the area of music? Some answers to these questions are yes and some are no. But now I have a foundation on where I should be going and my thought process. Bottom Line, is that I have to just believe in what I'm doing and trust and know that God will bring me into that season and pray that my harvest will be abundant.
OH yea...I didn't forget about the conference, I will post that soon
