It gets Serious

No Flash, No thrills, No smiles, No laughs, NO games. Tears, Work, Blood and Sweat, Grind, Beardface, NO cut. No shape ups, no new kicks, no new gear, nothing but me and the music. No time for arguments with wifey, none of that. It's time to get serious...Phone is shut off for weeks. If you need to call, write me a letter...

AND IM DEAD SERIOUS! People this is not a game to me, this is not a joke to me. This is not a gimmick fam, this is reality. This is more than entertainment here folks, this about 1 man and the art that God has given him. This is about another man and his help in aiding the other man get to the top. This is my life. It gets ugly from here on people. Look, the swagger has been back, but the giant has not been awaken, and now it's time.

This blog is about the start of my grind. From this date on It's grind time, August 30th 2007. I have a deadline of Sept 20th 2007 to finish everything. What do I have to finish? The Smooth House EP which hold 5-6 fresh songs, the Ghostwriders beat tape entitled 61 keys...Why the name? Cause Me and my brother are doing the album with 1 keyboard...the Motif thats it, nothing else 61 keys on the board. What else ? Man on Fire EP, what's that? Inspirational cuts that Im dedicating to GOD...MAN ON FIRE. Why september 20th? Cause september 28th and 29th I have a music conference where Im shopping all this for a deal. Why else? Cause signing season is approaching. (here's a secret to all the unsigned) Labels sign their artists for the new year in 3 months, January February, and March. If your not signed in these months, then pretty much you might have to wait till next year, unless your just THAT HOT! So what's that mean for me? Shopping season is October. Im running out of time...anyways I feel like a senior in college tryna get to the NBA with this. There is no next year for me. I've smashed the league for 4 years (8 years music time) and now it's time to go to the next level...NBA (Label Deal)

GOD FACTOR: I'm on a 12 day religious fast to seek God's Face. God is the factor in all of this. For those who don't know, I am a born again Christian. I love the Lord with all my heart and I know that he is going to help me on this. There are 2 many evils in the music business, that one can get trapped in. Without God in Music your done. But anyways, the 12 day fast goes like this: after each physical meal, I have a spiritual meal. After I eat breakfast, I read the word and pray, After lunch, I read the word and pray, After dinner, I read the word and pray. This occurs 3 times a day. I am not replacing a meal with the word, but rather eating and then reading and praying. Just like you need 3 meals a day for nourishment and growth in the body, I am having 3 spiritual meals a day for Spiritual Growth. I didn't see this on tv or hear someone talk about this, The Lord Gave this to me. Your pray is different for the 3 times during the day. 1st pray is a prayer of thanksgiving and just spending time with GOD. 2nd prayer is a pray for other people and their needs. 3rd pray is a pray for yourself and your needs. The whole purpose of this is to spend time with GOD and let him lead your life and your purpose. And God is the one that has to lead my musical career. Without his direction, I might as well not do it
