So i was talking with this cat named James from this marketing company i think from Philly or some where in Jersey. What he does is put the artist in touch directly with the label (A&R), and you sit with them, hand them your demo, bio, sing for them, you know sell yourself so that you can get signed. It's totally up to you. In this case, the label was Jive Records. I was like...yo thas wassup ( In my head Im thinking, What's the catch?)! Dude told me that they was looking for some artists, to fill the void that they had. He said they had R. Kelly, Usher, Chris Brown, but was looking for someone like 25, 26, 27...you know young, but a little more mature than the Chris Brown crowd. I thought to myself "yo this is perfect for me" "but what's the catch?" He was like, "I charge a thousand dollars for my service" I was like...Click!
